Current events
Our events aim to make Europe and the Danube region a true experience and tangible and to impart knowledge about the EU and the Danube. The formats include concerts during the year, literary evenings, readings, political panel discussions, lectures, exhibitions and offers for children and young people.
The aim of these events is to bring Europe- and Danube-related topics to the citizens, to convey knowledge about the Danube Region and the EU and to strengthen the awareness of the citizens as part of the Danube Region.

Ulm World Week 2025
Our recurring lighthouse events
The Ulm World Week takes place every two years at the beginning of July in odd-numbered years
How green are Ulm and Neu-Ulm? And what is happening in terms of sustainability, environmental and climate protection in our cities? During Ulm Environment Week, there is a varied programme with something for everyone. Together we will find out what our local situation is in terms of environmental and climate protection and how we can live more sustainably. Ulm Environment Week is organised and coordinated by the Digital Agenda of the City of Ulm, the Danube Office Ulm/Neu-Ulm with its Europe Direct Centre, Jugend aktiv in Ulm, the Local Agenda Ulm 21 and the Ulm Seniors' Council.
The Danube Festival takes place every two years in the even years at the beginning of July
Every two years, the Danube Office Ulm/Neu-Ulm invites you to the International Danube Festival. For ten days, both banks of the Danube are bustling with activity when international artists and guests from all countries along the Danube come together at the festival of encounters. The international cultural programme offers a sophisticated mix of different artistic styles - whether music, dance, literature or exhibitions, the Danube countries present themselves with their cultural ambassadors.
