Collection of general information when visiting our website

When you access our website, information of a general nature is automatically collected by means of a cookie. This information (server log files) includes the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your internet service provider and similar. This is exclusively information that does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person.

This information is technically necessary in order to correctly deliver website content requested by you and is mandatory when using the Internet. In particular, it is processed for the following purposes:

  • Ensuring a problem-free connection of the website,
  • Ensuring a smooth use of our website,
  • Evaluation of system security and stability, and
  • for other administrative purposes.

The processing of your personal data is based on our legitimate interest from the aforementioned data collection purposes. We do not use your data to draw conclusions about your person. Recipients of the data are only the responsible body and, if applicable, order processors.

Anonymous information of this kind may be statistically evaluated by us in order to optimise our website and the technology behind it.

CCM 19

Our website uses CCM19 to obtain your consent to the storage of certain cookies on your terminal device or to the use of certain technologies and to document this in a data protection compliant manner. The provider of this technology is Papoo Software & Media GmbH, Auguststr. 4, 53229 Bonn (hereinafter "CCM19").

When you enter our website, a connection is established to the CCM19 servers in order to obtain your consent and other declarations regarding the use of cookies. CCM19 then stores a cookie in your browser in order to be able to allocate the consents given to you or their revocation. The data collected in this way is stored until you request us to delete it, delete the CCM19 cookie yourself or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Mandatory legal storage obligations remain unaffected.

CCM19 is used to obtain the legally required consent for the use of cookies. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. c DSGVO.

SSL encryption

To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.

Newsletter

On the basis of your expressly given consent, we will send you our newsletter or comparable information regularly by e-mail to your specified e-mail address.

To receive the newsletter, it is sufficient to provide your e-mail address. When registering to receive our newsletter, the data you provide will be used exclusively for this purpose. Subscribers may also be informed by e-mail about circumstances relevant to the service or registration (for example, changes to the newsletter offer or technical circumstances).

For an effective registration, we require a valid e-mail address. In order to verify that a registration is actually made by the owner of an e-mail address, we use the "double-opt-in" procedure. For this purpose, we log the order for the newsletter, the sending of a confirmation email and the receipt of the response requested herewith. No further data is collected. The data is used exclusively for sending the newsletter and is not passed on to third parties.

You can revoke your consent to the storage of your personal data and its use for sending the newsletter at any time. There is a corresponding link in each newsletter. You can also unsubscribe directly on this website at any time or inform us of your wish to do so using the contact option provided at the end of this privacy policy.

Contact form

If you contact us by e-mail or contact form regarding questions of any kind, you give us your voluntary consent for the purpose of contacting you. For this purpose, you must provide a valid e-mail address. This is used for the assignment of the enquiry and the subsequent response to it. The provision of further data is optional. The information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing the enquiry and for possible follow-up questions. Personal data will be automatically deleted after your enquiry has been dealt with.

Use of Matomo

This website uses the open source web analytics service Matomo.

With the help of Matomo, we are able to collect and analyse data about the use of our website by website visitors. This enables us to find out, among other things, when which page views were made and from which region they come. We also collect various log files (e.g. IP address, referrer, browsers and operating systems used) and can measure whether our website visitors perform certain actions (e.g. clicks, purchases, etc.).

The use of this analysis tool is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both its website and its advertising. If a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information in the user's terminal device (e.g. device fingerprinting) as defined by the TTDSG. The consent can be revoked at any time.

IP anonymisation

We use IP anonymisation for the analysis with Matomo. In this case, your IP address is shortened before analysis so that it can no longer be clearly assigned to you.

Use of Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps API to visually display geographical information. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data about visitors' use of the map functions. You can find more information about the data processing by Google on the following website the Google Privacy Policy from the website. There you can also change your personal data protection settings in the data protection centre.

Detailed instructions on how to manage your own data in connection with Google products you can find here.

Embedded YouTube videos

We embed YouTube videos on some of our websites. The operator of the corresponding plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection to YouTube servers is established. This tells Youtube which pages you are visiting. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can assign your surfing behaviour to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your Youtube account first.

When a Youtube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behaviour.

Those who have deactivated the storage of cookies for the Google Ad programme will not have to expect any such cookies when watching Youtube videos. However, Youtube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you would like to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in the browser.

For further information on data protection at "Youtube", please refer to the provider's privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

Social Plugins

Social plugins from the providers listed below are used on our websites. You can recognise the plugins by the fact that they are marked with the corresponding logo.

Information, which may also include personal data, may be sent to the service provider via these plugins and may be used by the service provider.

We prevent the unconscious and unwanted collection and transmission of data to the service provider through a 2-click solution. To activate a desired social plugin, it must first be activated by clicking on the corresponding button. Only this activation of the plugin also triggers the collection of information and its transmission to the service provider. We do not collect any personal data ourselves by means of the social plugins or through their use.

We have no influence on what data an activated plugin collects and how it is used by the provider. At present, it must be assumed that a direct connection to the provider's services is established and that at least the IP address and device-related information is collected and used. There is also the possibility that the service providers try to save cookies on the computer used. Please refer to the data protection information of the respective service provider to find out which specific data is collected and how it is used. Note: If you are logged into Facebook at the same time, Facebook can identify you as a visitor to a particular page.

We have integrated the social media buttons of the following companies on our website: Facebook, Youtube, Twitter

If necessary, please inform yourself about the data protection provisions of the plugins/providers mentioned under:

We reserve the right to adapt this data protection declaration so that it always complies with the current legal requirements or in order to implement changes to our services in the data protection declaration, e.g. when introducing new services. The new data protection statement will then apply to your next visit.
