Terms of use for an account on the website
The Donaubüro gemeinnützige GmbH offers visitors to create a free account. It offers the user the possibility:

This offer is subject to the following terms and conditions, which are accepted by the user upon registration:
1. registration
The creation of the account requires that the visitor registers. Donaubüro gemeinnützige GmbH requires the (user) name, the e-mail address and a password for this purpose. The visitor has no right to an account. Donaubüro gemeinnützige GmbH reserves the right to refuse account registration without giving reasons.
2. winding up
By sending the registration, the account is set up on the website. However, the account will only become active once the Internet user has verified his/her e-mail address by confirming the link sent in the welcome e-mail. The password is stored on the server in encrypted form. In the event of a lost password, the user can have it reset.
3. termination
The user has the possibility to delete his account at any time. The cancellation of the account causes the Donaubüro gemeinnützige GmbH to delete the account within 30 days. The cancellation must be submitted by e-mail to i.engels@donaubuero.de.
4. duties of the user (netiquette)
The user of the account agrees that:
- no content is transmitted whose reproduction constitutes an infringement of copyrights or other rights of third parties;
- no advertising is distributed;
- no products or services are offered;
- no content is transmitted that contains software, applications, programmes or viruses, or other data that impair or damage the function of the web portal of other participants;
- not insult, defame or in any way harass or harm other members;
- the data of other members obtained through the use of the web portal will not be used for commercial advertising;
- the web portal is not used for pornographic, child-endangering, national socialist, violence-glorifying, racist or similar content.
- By transferring content to the Donaufest web portal, the user guarantees that he/she has the right to make this content available for use. At the same time, a right of use to this content is transferred. The right of use includes the revocable right to worldwide duplication, distribution, transmission, public reproduction, publication or other comparable use of the transferred content without any claim to remuneration. The user shall indemnify the operator of the web portal against all claims asserted by third parties against the Danube Office on the grounds of infringement of their rights, in particular copyrights, licensing rights, competition rights or other property rights on the basis of the content transmitted by the user. The user shall reimburse the Danube Office for the costs of legal action incurred due to the infringing content.
5. publication
The operator of the web portal reserves the right to edit, delete or block user contributions and content.
6. liability
The Donaubüro gemeinnützige GmbH is not liable for damages that may arise due to errors, delays or interruptions in transmission, in the event of malfunctions of the technical equipment and service, incorrect content, loss or deletion of data, viruses or in any other way with the account. Unless such damages were caused by the Donaubüro gemeinnützigen GmbH, its employees or vicarious agents intentionally or through gross negligence.
7. data protection
Donaubüro gemeinnützige GmbH undertakes to observe the statutory provisions on data protection and to maintain the secrecy of telecommunications. In particular, reference is made in this context to the General data protection regulations pointed out.
8. final provisions
Donaubüro gemeinnützige GmbH reserves the right to change these terms of use at any time without prior notice. The account user agrees to the change unless he/she objects by e-mail within a period of 14 days. German law shall apply to these terms and conditions.
Terms of use for a newsletter
The Donaubüro gemeinnützige GmbH offers visitors the opportunity to subscribe to a newsletter and thus regularly receive current information by e-mail. This offer is governed by the following provisions, which are acknowledged by the user with the registration:
1. registration
The subscription requires that the visitor registers. The Donaubüro gemeinnützige GmbH requires the (user) name and an e-mail address for this purpose. The visitor has no right to registration. The Donaubüro gemeinnützige GmbH reserves the right to refuse registration of the account without giving reasons.
2. winding up
By sending the registration, a newsletter subscription is set up in the website's system. However, the subscription will only become active once the internet user has verified his/her email address by confirming the link sent in the welcome email. Donaubüro gemeinnützige GmbH reserves the right to suspend or discontinue the distribution of newsletters at any time without prior notice. This applies in particular to cases in which proper implementation cannot be guaranteed for technical reasons (e.g. viruses in the computer system, manipulation or errors in the hardware and/or software) or for legal reasons.

The user can cancel his subscription at any time by clicking on "unsubscribe" in the newsletter e-mail. The subscription will be deleted with immediate effect.
