Event

A day as an MEP

Simulation of the European Parliament with pupils

On 11 May 2026, we invite you to a simulation of the European Parliament (SimEP) at Ulm Town Hall. Students from the 11th to 13th grades from Ulm, Neu-Ulm and the region will slip into the role of MEPs for a day. Thanks to funding from the European Commission, participation, including a cold lunch, is free of charge.

The simulation of the European Parliament brings European politics to life and teaches European knowledge and key skills - including:

  • Understanding democratic processes
  • Insight into the workings of the European Parliament
  • Ability to work in a team and compromise
  • Argumentation and negotiation skills

Pupils experience politics at first hand - realistically, interactively and with a lasting learning effect.
