Sustainable mobility in Ulm/Neu-Ulm

Brief information

The docking project "Sustainable Mobility in Ulm/Neu-Ulm" builds on the project results of the Interreg B project "Transdanube.Pearls" (2017-2019) and makes it possible to continue the project results and initiated ideas for promoting sustainable mobility and thus anchor them in the region.

Project implementation

Donaubüro gGmbH

Project duration
15.08.2019 - 31.12.2021
Total budget
91.120,00€
Support programme

Federal Programme Transnational Cooperation
of the Federal Ministry of the Interior, for Building and Home Affairs

Project goal

The aim of the project "Sustainable mobility in Ulm/Neu-Ulm" is to promote sustainable mobility for residents and tourists in the Ulm/Neu-Ulm region. The project thus represents an important building block for achieving a CO2 transport and makes a valuable contribution to climate protection.

Project measures

The planned activities can be assigned to 3 work packages:

The first work package is dedicated to coordinating and advancing the implementation of measures in the Tourism and Mobility Plan for the Ulm/Neu-Ulm region.

The second work package is used as an example to further prepare for a physical mobility centre in Ulm for the target group "tourists". An information brochure on sustainable mobility in the region is planned for guests and citizens, as well as a communication campaign to strengthen communication and awareness of sustainable mobility.

The Third work package aims to consolidate and strengthen the cross-sectoral and cross-institutional cooperation of tourism and mobility stakeholders in the Ulm/Neu-Ulm region.
