By bike from Blaubeuren to Ulm's fishing district. Guided half-day tour
Do you enjoy cycling in a group? If you want to discover long-forgotten mills, then you've come to the right place on this entertaining cycle tour about the history of sustainable energy utilisation of hydropower.
We follow the Danube tributary from its source to its mouth for around 22 kilometres without any major inclines, making small stops along the way. We learn how abbesses and dodgy millers used mysterious technology to utilise water power in the early days. We discover hidden mill wheels, learn about medieval crafts and hear the success stories of important Ulm companies.
At the end of the tour, there are plenty of places to stop for a cosy end to the tour. You organise your own journey there and back, e.g. by train from Ulm main station.
Have you become curious? Then get off the treadmill and register now! Whether you have a bike or your own e-bike - first come, first served.
