Online seminar on the EU CERV funding programme

Citizens, equality, rights and values

The EU programme „Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values” (CERV) is one of the EU's most important financial instruments for supporting civil society organisations, municipalities and other stakeholders. Around 486 million euros in funding is available for the last two years of the seven-year funding period from 2021 to 2027.

The joint online seminar of the Bavarian EUROPE DIRECTs from Augsburg, Coburg, Munich, Nuremberg, Ulm/ Neu-Ulm and Vilstal and the CERV contact point provides an overview of the funding opportunities in the programme and focuses on the „Civic Engagement and Participation“ action area. Among other things, this offers municipalities and associations that want to carry out citizens' meetings or urban networking projects, as well as civil society organisations that bring citizens together in projects, an opportunity to receive European funding. In particular, the current calls for proposals for citizens' meetings and civil society projects will be presented.
